Continuous Publication Policy

Continuous Publication Model Policy (Continuous Article Publishing – CAP)

Publication Model

Anatolia Cor – International Heart Journal adopts the Continuous Article Publishing (CAP) model, in which articles are published online immediately after the completion of the peer-review and acceptance processes.

Publication in the continuous publication model is article-based, with no volume structure used and issue information being mandatory. There is no advance notice or future issue planning; articles are published directly after the peer review process is completed. Page numbering is not mandatory; each article is identified by an article number (Article ID / e-location ID) defined by the system and permanently identified by a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The continuous publication model offers the advantages of rapid publication and increased visibility. In this model, the citation format includes the author(s), article title, journal name, year, issue, and article number/or page number, along with the DOI information.
