Abstract

Coronary bypass surgery is a common procedure used to treat the clogged arteries in the heart. However, it is not risk -free. Various risk assessment tools have been developed to assess the risk of complications associated with this surgery. One of the most commonly used tools is Euroscore 2, the European Cardiac Operative Risk Assessment System. This article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Euroscore 2 in predicting the risk of complications in patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass. We will discuss what Euroscore 2 is and how it is compared with other risk assessment tools. In addition, we will examine the benefits and risks of coronary bypass surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass and investigate ways to minimize the risk of complications. Through this study, it is aimed to provide valuable information about the efficacy of Euroscore 2 to predict the risk of complications in patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass.
